The way she ties the six-foot fundoshi is neat, and I think it's a solid entry for a fundoshi-themed project. That's exactly why I wonder if it was even necessary to include the judo element. For the final scene where she performs in front of her 'fiancé' (is he really?), it would've been a great surprise if she wore a bright red six-foot fundoshi under a pure white wedding dress to show him. If he saw Misato like that, he'd definitely be rock hard and ready to swear eternal love to her.
