TARD-011 - Trading Widows

Two widows who lost their husbands around the same time; Nio is seduced by her brother-in-law, and Aoyama by her younger brother-in-law. The story culminates in a mourning clothes-swapping 4P at their joint 49th-day memorial service. Both actresses have roughly equal screen time and are both leads. The 'being toyed with' vibe mentioned in the description is non-existent; both widows are set up to succumb to temptation. The story and script are well-structured. The actresses' acting and techniques are sufficient. The 4P scene is also handled with care to minimize shots of all four people at once. However, what bothers me is the pairing of the actresses. One has a round face, the other an oval face. There's a 10-year age gap, a combination of a woman in her 40s and one in her 30s. I don't think many people will like both. This work's rating will depend on your opinion of this casting. I don't particularly like this kind of mixed-type pairing, so that's why I'm giving this rating.
