I bought this while it was on sale. I had high expectations because I enjoyed Nanami Yokomiya's previous works. The concept of enjoying an onsen trip with her felt very relaxing and healing. I absolutely love this one.
It has been a year since she passed away. I had never watched her work before, fearing I would get lost in the VR world, but I took this opportunity to watch it. She was far more incredible than I could have imagined. I was completely intoxicated by the sweet world she created. I don't think I'll be able to leave her—a one-of-a-kind presence—for a while. I never had dreams of marriage, nor have I ever been married, but she taught me that such happiness can exist in marriage. It was a completely new realization for me. Nanami Yokomiya played this happy marriage so brilliantly, yet in a work called 'Menhera Tower,' she said, 'After going through many painful experiences, I stopped caring and became an AV actress.' I suspect she had long since given up on the idea of a happy marriage. Was she happy to act out something in her work that was impossible in reality? Or did she perform it with a cold heart, seeing it as nothing more than a fantasy? I don't know what she was thinking, but as the genius she was, she showed none of her deep inner sorrow and perfectly portrayed a happy marriage, captivating us all. I am simply devastated by the profound karma inherent in the AV industry.
*I bought it because it was a sequel to the previous work, but after a year, Nanami-chan has become more and more alien-like, hasn't she? The lines are still easy to read though. The conversation and Nanami's body were unbalanced and felt strange (despite her childish conversation, her body has decent breasts and plenty of pubic hair). Too bad I didn't hit anything. Also, the last scene should have been shot in a more proper location, but why was it shot next to the outdoor air conditioner unit at the back door? This is the best place to take pictures of Nanami-chan.
Watched on Meta Quest 3. Honestly, I underestimated it. I'd heard it was moving, but after seeing the previous Yokomiya Nanami face-focused entry, I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong. To put it simply, it starts with homages to the first one, using flashbacks and dialogue, with even better VR direction and a touching reverse-proposal from Nanami-san. But the moment I felt that 'Suzutake' shift was the sudden breakup and downward spiral at the start, followed by her one-sided demand to get back together six months later and their lovey-dovey trip. The normal scenes are calm, with a laid-back vibe that brings out that youthful Nanami-san feel from the previous lines. Then the reverse-proposal is moving, and the sex scene (which takes nearly 70 minutes to reach) completely changes the tone. Even though she was the one who broke it off, she says, 'Did you do this with other women while we were apart? I can't forgive you!' That line instantly shifts the mood from relaxed to pure 'woman,' and honestly, the cowgirl position was incredibly erotic. The sex scenes that follow, including the ring-licking, were so hot. It proves that it's not just about the runtime or the content—it's that signature Suzutake style that really hit home. It's such a masterpiece that it's embarrassing to talk about face-focused content without having seen this.
Nanami-chan was just incredibly cute; every scene was pure bliss! How could anyone resist such cuteness right in front of them?
