VS-517 - Immoral Angel Maiko Nagase

It's nothing short of a miracle that they managed to take one of the most erotic and sensitive girls in AV history and produce a film where that eroticism is completely absent. A truly terrible piece of trash.

Released in February 1998; born January 10, 1977, she had just turned 21. Directed by Shinichi Kawamura. The disappointment is as big as the expectations, but it's okay since I get to see one of her rare works again. As a series entry, it's probably a '2', but Maiko brought a decent atmosphere to it, so I'll give it a '3'.

The composition is very half-baked. It doesn't even feel particularly immoral. This series is usually full of great titles, but this one is an exception and borders on being a failure. The only saving grace is that Maiko-san is cute, but there are plenty of actresses with her looks in this genre. She doesn't even fully commit to the 'masochistic angel' persona.

It had a plain and somewhat dark vibe, but the first half—where she's bound, struggling in navy high socks, and then having them stripped off—was excellent.

Maiko-chan is really cute, but the pacing felt off. It lacked intensity at the crucial moments, leaving me feeling unsatisfied.
