VTVT-001 - Hikari Azuma's forced stripping challenge

Others have already left accurate reviews, so there's not much to add... but there's a certain 'hitch' where the performer shows a bit of self-conscious acting, as if to say, 'I'm actually aiming to be an actress' (I don't know if she ever became one). It's a mysterious video where she seems to be reluctantly doing a project she didn't really want to do, and the various awkward vibes that seep out of the work actually leave an impression. The performer has a pretty face and a great body, and her other erotic works where she's more willing are actually quite good. Watching this alongside those might not be a bad way to fully appreciate her as a performer.

It's not bad, but the content is lacking that extra something. If they aren't going to take their clothes off, I'd prefer a concept that plays more on humiliation, like a pseudo-facial game.

Popular 'clothed-ero' idol Hikari Azuma attempts a 'new direction (the third domain of ero)' that is neither standard clothed-ero nor AV. In the opening, they throw a series of lewd requests at Hikari during a meeting to test her 'potential.' In the first mission, where she disguises herself as a real doll and is 'displayed' in an adult shop, she loses her temper when male customers grope her breasts without mercy. In the second mission, where she performs 'NG poses' in the dark, she strikes suggestive poses with her privates exposed, though it's impossible to confirm if she's actually naked. After a segment of reading erotic novels, the second half features a challenge where she changes her panties 30 times in a row (with zero 'happenings'). In the final act, veteran Hikari teaches posing to rookie idol Kyo Akane. In the sense that it's a 'clothed-ero video that isn't erotic at all,' it is indeed a 'new direction,' but it's a project that truly benefits no one.

The jacket photo looked bland, so I rented it, wondering if the retail version had different content. Based on the reviews, it seems to be the same. The interview conversation is so long that the actual content ends quickly. If they wanted to make a documentary-style piece, they should have shown the context before and after and made it a 3-4 hour long film with all the extra fluff. The blacklight doesn't show anything either. The crucial scenes are cut just at the edge, so you don't even need mosaics. It's not bad as a variety show, but this content doesn't really need to be for adults. It feels like something that could have aired on late-night TV back in the day. I'm hoping for a harder route in the sequel, but she could probably fit right into the 'One Towel in the Men's Bath~' series.

I was a fool to have such high expectations... this is a zero-star production. I can already tell the next one won't be worth buying either. The older releases are significantly better.
