So when this came out under the 'Yuwaku Label,' I wasn't expecting much. But as always, director Asagiri Kiyoshi delivers. This is a fantastic piece, and it made me realize Gōba can absolutely kill it in erotica. It's amazing how much of a difference the director makes with the same material. Gōba is a talented actress, so with good scene setting, lighting, and cinematography, it's bound to be a great work. My only complaint is the pierced ear of the brother-in-law. Why didn't he just take it out? It didn't fit the character at all. The biggest problem with recent erotica is that it often defaults to the M/S dynamic. You end up watching a lot of male nudity while the actress stays fully clothed, and the lighting is either too dark or overly zoomed in. Or you get long, static shots where you can't even tell what's happening. This film, however, centers around Gōba, and it's a well-crafted drama that lets you fully appreciate her beautiful physique and acting skills. Seriously, highly recommend!!
