A peek into the secret private lives of ordinary people in Tokyo. Everyone dreams of a hidden escape, right? It's not just kids who want to be heroes; adults want to erase the 'real' self. For Pico and Makino in Shinjuku, the makeup room isn't just a waiting area. It's a magical space where they shed their mundane identities to be reborn as glamorous actresses. The flashy version of her enjoying pleasure under the lights versus the lonely version of her rotting at home. Who is the real me?
It feels like a documentary or a mockumentary. With the fixed camera and long takes, the overall vibe is like watching a late-night documentary, which I personally enjoyed.
The entire film is shot in the same room with a fixed camera angle. It shows the model applying makeup, interacting with the actor, and chatting with staff between takes. The makeup artist, 'Makino,' is credited on the jacket, so I expected some action with him, but there wasn't anyโjust talking. About half the runtime is conversation, so it might be good if you want to see the model's natural side, but it's not a typical AV. If your goal is to get off, don't bother with this one.

The 14th installment in a series that features 'peeking into the unscripted, real sex lives of young couples via hidden cameras.' It follows Piiko (19), a popular health-club girl with AV experience, and her hair and makeup artist, Makino (31). Compared to the previous entry, where the subjects were so far away you couldn't even make out their facial features, this one gets much closer to the subjects. The fact that they get naked within the first five minutes is quite unusual for this series, which usually treats the 'build-up before undressing' as its lifeblood. Itโs a very elaborate production that even films the behind-the-scenes of an AV shoot that Piiko is working on. It's packed with actual sex scenes, making it a 'solid fap-worthy flick' that feels uncharacteristic of the 'story-first' Tokyo Koizu brand.
