Two best friends end up in a physical negotiation because they desire each other so much. They both get a happy ending in the end… They're both in great shape, so the track uniforms look good on them, and I liked that they played together the whole time. This is a keeper!

Just having two of my favorite actresses is a win, but the ending where the two who'd given up on everything fall for each other? Top tier stuff. Definitely a keeper.

Karina, the ace of the track team, and her best friend Wakana. They vow to qualify for the final competition together, but Wakana, who has nothing but effort to her name, struggles to make the team. Karina offers her body to a perverted advisor in exchange for getting Wakana on the team. Wakana learns she's being sacrificed for her friend and falls prey to the advisor as well. It's compelling how they both become puppets of the perverted advisor because they care about each other. It creates more drama than the typical blackmail plot with hidden camera footage. The character work is great too – Karina constantly rebels against the advisor, while Wakana is timid and completely helpless. The tension in the scene where they're both tied up is insane and a must-watch. The assistant teacher who cares about Wakana is completely useless and easily succumbs to his desires, adding to the overwhelming sense of despair. I'm convinced that the sweat and friendship of youth are the perfect fuel for… well, you know.

Saw the packaging and thought 'Wow!' but the content is comedy-level. Seriously, they cast a promising actress and *this* is what we get? A total waste. It's like they sent Sasaki Rokuhi to America and he just flopped. If it was about a best friend trying to get you on the team for their last competition, they could've made it so much more dramatic… If she's being exploited by a creepy old advisor, that means he's in a position to do whatever he wants, right? You'd think she'd take advantage of a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity, but it's just… predictable. It's like having the bases loaded with no outs and only getting one run on a sacrifice fly. That's how underwhelming this is. Is the director Manaka Mitsuru?
