This series is completely different depending on whether it's directed by Tomizo Taro or Fuga. While preferences vary, I think more people actually prefer Fuga's work. I'm definitely Team Tomizo, though. In Fuga's version, the father-in-law and husband feel like rivals, which feels unnatural. Considering he's the son's father, and likely in his 60s, he'll probably need care in about ten years. He'll have no one to rely on but his son and daughter-in-law, so it's not the time to be competing for his wife. And the daughter-in-law wouldn't want to be forced to choose between an old man like that. The father-in-law's role is just that – a father-in-law – and being able to sleep with a frustrated wife is just a lucky option. Tomizo's version nails the nuance, and I also feel like actors Ozawa and Yoshimura genuinely cherish and love the younger woman. Now, about this particular work, like the one with Ozawa and Kyoka Shiori, the actress is a bit older, and Mori-san looks even more plain than Kyoka-san, which made me a little worried. The jacket photo gave me the impression of Mori-san as a kind, slightly flirty older sister running a snack bar or small restaurant, but her acting as a woman trying to please both her estranged husband and father-in-law in the early drama was captivating. I was turned on by the scene where she seeks advice from her father-in-law, and he can't resist her loveliness and forces himself on her. Mori-san has a pure image in the drama, but she really lets loose with a surprisingly loud voice during the sex scenes, and it feels so genuine and sexy. The drama really enhances the scenes, and I think it's a much better work than I expected.

Kaorin is just amazing – her body, her mind, that perfect housewife vibe. But this installment is a letdown. The screen is too dark, and the camera angles are so static. It's the second entry, it should be building momentum, and it's a shame for Kaorin.
