This is top-tier drama, showing the struggle between reason and pleasure in 'High-Ranking Flower'. The actress's performance is insane. Honestly, it would've felt even more real and given off that desperate 'loser guy' vibe if they'd used only rookie actors instead of familiar veterans. There are also a lot of scenes where the husband interrupts, and *way* too many scenes focused on... well, you know (the '竿折り' stuff), which makes it kinda impractical. Such a great actress, it's a shame. Cheating scenes are best when they're secretive and have that forbidden thrill, but having a recognizable actor ruins the 'with strangers...' vibe! At least a mask would've made sense. When a series gets popular, the creators tend to prioritize their own desires and just make it all about *that* (again, the '竿折り' stuff) instead of highlighting the actress's strengths, and so many good series just fizzle out. They really need to stop doing that. This is a masterpiece, definitely worth owning, but still disappointing.

Meguri's been around forever, but how does she still maintain such a beautiful and voluptuous body and stunning looks? Seriously, I respect her for staying so gorgeous.
