I saw this work mentioned in Fujisan's note and after watching the YouTube video, I decided to buy it. There's some overlap between the YouTube content and the beginning of the work, but I think you really need to watch the note, YouTube, and the work itself together to fully understand it. Fujisan's book, 'Naked Swan,' also talks about the journey to her AV debut and her feelings towards her parents, and this work touches on her parents as well. She also honestly reveals her struggles, worries, and relationship with her agency as an actress, which probably explains the tears. Director Liang Jing gently draws out her story, and it feels like something that was held back finally breaks. This work is a 'hime-tori' (candid shot) style. Honestly, I don't usually like this style, but it felt the most natural out of all the hime-tori videos I've purchased. The two people are facing each other, kissing and intertwining, and it really shows how attracted they are to each other. I think it's a good work. Of course, there will be opinions for and against it. However, the distance during the kissing scenes was a bit of a letdown. The downsides are the lack of intimacy in the kissing scenes, making it hard to feel the heat, and the director's hair getting in the way. Also, the kissing scenes sometimes go out of frame... it's an NG from a production standpoint. Also, why does the director only cover his shoulders? Does he have a tattoo? I don't really like tattoos, even though it's a matter of taste. The shooting method had some issues, but Fujisan's interaction was good. It's a 'must-have' kind of work!
I watched the long interview (also available on YouTube, and actually more detailed there) without skipping anything because I wanted to increase the excitement of the sex scene that followed, but that expectation was mostly betrayed by the fixed-camera footage. The key to hime-tori is how immersive it can be, and it seems this director still doesn't understand that, just showing a video that only he enjoys from a distance. I think renting is sufficient rather than buying.
