Everyone ends up getting passed around for a specific reason. It's kinda messed up, but there's a sense of inevitability, and the way she doesn't fully resist is really captivating. It's got a certain depth to it.

They put some effort into the dramatic parts, but it ultimately fell into the usual trope of sneaking into the couple's bedroom. Didn't really feel much anger from the villagers, which was a bit of a letdown. However, Kawahashi Kaho's expressions were *amazing*. The sensuality she conveyed during the scene was fantastic, and with a little more work on the script and direction, this could have been a masterpiece. The Plant Chairman's awakening was just… cringey.

I think Kawahashi and Nagae's style really complement each other. She doesn't have a huge number of releases, but they're all impactful. I was really looking forward to this one as it's one of Nagae's signature works, and it didn't disappoint! The classic trope of being suddenly overwhelmed and corrupted in everyday life is always a winner. Her 'just right' level of performance was perfect. Personally, I loved her early short black hair look, and I'd love to see her team up with Nagae again with that visual someday.

A tragic tale of a couple from out of town who break a taboo in a closed-off society where everyone seems friendly on the surface. It's a realistic depiction of a mob mentality, with young and old alike gathering like vultures around new prey.

They seem to be aiming for a cinematic feel, but compared to other works, only the quickie scenes stand out. There's hardly any foreplay, and it lacks variety. Not really my thing.
