What really stands out is her slightly unrefined, almost playful vibe, which is incredibly alluring. She'd be a star if she landed a role as a flirtatious young wife in something like Madonna or Attackers. However, the story itself feels a bit lacking in this installment. I think Hirose-san shares some of the blame. Her acting isn't *bad*, but her expressions change too rapidly during the more intimate scenes, making it feel like she's not fully immersed. Hopefully, that'll improve with more experience. But honestly, Yoshimura-san's performance is the bigger issue. He was fantastic with Kino Machi in 'The Wagyan,' and perfectly fine in Madonna's 'Having a Baby with My Husband...' He's become the go-to actor for older men in 'Nagae,' but he feels flat here. He just comes across as a gentle, understanding middle-aged man, which doesn't fit the role of a stubborn, old-fashioned father. Plus, like Abe-san in the previous installment, he constantly explains or emphasizes Hirose-san's feelings and reactions during the scenes, which is annoying. The initial sex scene (borderline r●pe, honestly) should show her enjoyment while he 'scolds' her, letting her reactions speak for themselves instead of spelling everything out. Ultimately, Ozawa-san would have been a much better fit for the grumpy father role, and for conveying affection through the messy, fluid interactions. It's a shame, because both Momose-san and Hirose-san are incredibly appealing.
