It was good. There were parts that left a strong impression—a rediscovery of Nana Aoyama. I remember her from Attackers' works. Is it true that Ittetsu retired? In a word, the second half and the final scene were the best. Nana is moving back to her hometown and packing her things. Much like the director's name, 'Yuigadokuson' (arrogant/self-centered), it feels like they're saying, 'Viewers, just watch it however you want,' so the plot didn't really matter... Ittetsu stands in the next room, watching her pack. And their final scene together. Nana Aoyama’s performance there is truly compelling, showing what a 'real' adult actress is capable of. She’s not just a big-breasted actress; otherwise, she wouldn't have appeared in Attackers' works multiple times since she was young. She can deliver heart-wrenching performances, too. She must have a great personality. The script for this one was a bit lacking, so I'm taking off one star. But I’ll definitely be revisiting that final scene.

This could be called the masterpiece of the series. The plot—where feelings for an older woman you admire spiral into rape—is simple and straightforward. They used a young actor, so he actually looks like a younger man, meaning no mental gymnastics are required. The actress also has the perfect 'older sister' vibe in both looks and acting, so it doesn't betray the atmosphere promised by the title. She feels a connection to the student living next door because he resembles her ex-boyfriend, and even when she's forced, she can't fully reject him. While the 'hardcore rape' feel is subtle, there's a certain emotional depth in seeing a woman accept the act for the sake of a man's unwavering devotion, making it a high-quality drama.

It was the lady next door. There's no 'girl next door' purity here. If anything, 'suburban housewife' is a more accurate description.
