It's hard to replace a good screenwriter or actress, but directors are a dime a dozen. Attackers should fire this guy and find someone else. A love story deserves a proper screenwriter and director.

If you're a perverted guy, you've probably felt the urge at least once during a funeral or memorial service for someone you aren't close to: seeing a pale, stylish beauty in mourning clothes and wanting to drag her somewhere secret, tear off those clothes, and ravage her. I think this would have been a great work if they had ended it with a more affectionate scene. Unfortunately, it lacked the kind of climax the actress seemed to be looking for, and the scenes remained repetitive until the end. It feels like a missed opportunity, though I do want to give some credit to the story.

Though they were half-siblings, the younger brother commits suicide out of guilt after having an affair with his older stepsister. A ronin (student preparing for entrance exams) who looks exactly like the brother moves in next door. Yui lets her guard down. However, the ronin, who was told the brother's death was an accident, falls for Yui and eventually forces himself on her. Though she tries to reason with him once, he can't let go of his feelings and does it again on the anniversary of the brother's death... The story is half-baked and ends on a sour note. Plus, it's just dark. Yui's appearance, letting the ronin into her room while wearing no bra and loungewear, is way too defenseless. There's no progression of her body reacting against her will and gradually accepting him. As a story-driven AV, it's a failure. It felt like Hatano Yui had lost weight and her breasts looked smaller.
