This series follows a flow: going to a hot spring inn, explaining the concept, the director uses humiliation to break them in, the male actor performs in the hot spring, they show a different side of the actress in a separate room with restraints or oil, then in the guest room they have old-school body sushi and 'wakame sake,' followed by multiple-partner play like carrying her and squirting. Except for the final multiple-partner scene, the director constantly taunts the actress (even while the male actor is performing), and whether that vocabulary fits the actress's type or aptitude is key. In Yoshinaga-san's case, it didn't quite click (it worked for the previous actress, Honjo-san), and taunts that don't fit are the biggest distraction for viewers trying to focus on the performance. If the male actor were doing the taunting, it would reflect the mood, but since it comes from someone not involved, if it's off, it stays off—a recurring flaw in this series' template. In terms of aptitude, the humiliation play didn't match Yoshinaga-san either. Despite this mismatch, the performance itself was decent thanks to Yoshinaga-san's effort, but her physique isn't suited for oil play, and the oil diminishes the 'clean eroticism' (it's clear if you compare with and without oil). The multiple-partner play is fine, but while 'wakame sake' is one thing, the body sushi is just... I'm not against body sushi (it can be artistic if done right), but in this series, they just use the body as a plate, so it's more like 'body-topping,' losing the point of body sushi. Another template flaw. It feels uneasy from the first release after the label transfer. Is it just my imagination, or is it a cheap move to put her in another label's work before her exclusive contract ends, rather than seeing potential in 'Konomi Yoshinaga'? Regardless, I look forward to her future works.
