The effects in the scenes where she's repeatedly drugged with a love potion are so cheesy and outdated, like something from a Daiei drama, that it kills the mood. Shouldn't a professional learn modern video directing techniques? The acting throughout is just the difference between whether she's succumbed or not. There's no spectacle, just a monotonous repetition of exaggerated acting, and it's inevitable that you get bored as it goes on. The structure is the same as previous series, with no particular customization. The play in the morning should be the climax, but the short and silly play in the office at the end is just unnecessary. It seems like they want to depict the relationship continuing, but the director's bad habit is to depict everything with sex. The saving grace is Hikari-san's overwhelming acting ability. There's no need to worry about a mismatch, she easily handles even slightly serious roles, and her rejection, the process of succumbing, and even the acting of seeking it herself are all excellent. The variety of feelings she expresses during the play is also captivating, right on the edge of being theatrical. In particular, the range and depth of her physical expression are outstanding.
