There's a reason they couldn't go wild and change the story because of the original work, but as a Yuria Yoshine fan, I wish they had shown a bit more eroticism. It's a story-focused work, so don't expect too much intensity. It's a solid piece, definitely worth keeping, and shows a lot of skill.

If the actress was Yoshine Yuria, you'd at least feel some curves unless the camerawork was *really* bad. But honestly, I don't know if it's the fault of the original work or the direction, but the work itself wasn't very interesting. It felt like a repetitive series of weak encounters. People who like works with an older woman gently leading a lazy summer sex scene in the countryside might enjoy it.

Following up on "Her Mom is My Affair," another live-action adaptation featuring Yuria Kine and Kitorune Kawaguchi. The previous one was a disaster, forcing two source works into one, but I wondered if they could stretch this relatively short story to 120 minutes… and as expected, they padded it out with an original sequel. The aunt was supposed to be the father’s sister in the original, but casting an old man as the father immediately breaks the setting. The later direction makes it seem like she’s the mother’s sister, but then it doesn’t make sense why the returning aunt is at the father’s house. Also, in the original, the aunt whose marriage has fallen apart already takes off her ring before the divorce, but in this version, she wears it throughout, changing the meaning of the situation, and the mother isn’t even wearing a ring… it’s a mess from the start. The original’s charm was the progression from a “do it outside because you’re related” early sex scene to a desperate, pregnancy-risking deep thrust. They even cut the line “If you get pregnant, it’s your fault,” removing the pregnancy element altogether. The sex, with the actress not even breaking a sweat, is nowhere near the breathless, physical struggle of the original’s interactions. Honestly, it’s a completely different work, and I suspect original fans will be more disappointed than satisfied. Even as a live-action adaptation, the combination of Yuria Kine’s acting and Kitorune Kawaguchi’s direction just left me wondering why I had to watch two of these in a row, and feeling more disappointed than anything.
