As for the erotic scenes, he's just horny for the mother-in-law from the start, forces himself on her, and then they're suddenly in love by the second half with zero character development. There's one line of monologue about guilt, but it just makes the inconsistency worse. If there's no internal conflict, the premise is pointless. The sex scenes themselves were good, so they should've just made it a couple's hot spring trip from the start.
