While the setup of a sporty Miyashita Kana as a promiscuous gym instructor is fairly standard, the addition of a housewife being denied pregnancy by her abusive husband gives it a unique edge. The script, with its depiction of a man switching to a kind neighbor after deciding he wants kids but not his wife's DNA, feels very much in line with director Kitoru Kawaguchi's style and is reassuringly solid. It was a bit surprising how restrained the near-miss scenes were, but given the theme of 'gym fertility,' the fact that the direction didn't become a mess is actually a good thing. Unifying the main action with doggy style was a good choice, and Nakada's devoted character remaining steadfastly uninterested in the wife throughout was well-executed. The ending, where the wife rejects both her husband and Nakada, turning the gym into a hunting ground for fertile DNA, was a satisfying conclusion. The lighting and camera work present some challenges when it comes to showcasing Miyashita Kana's muscular physique, and the costumes sometimes feel like they get in the way. The interactions don't fully commit to either a dominant or submissive dynamic, lacking a distinct character, but conversely, there aren't any real negatives, suggesting the actress has already found her footing in her second drama role. As a drama, it's a clever combination of existing ideas that exceeds expectations. Limiting the interactions to the gym is a key point, so I hope any potential sequels don't stray into domestic sex scenes. There's plenty of room to play with costumes, situations, and the characterization of the target men, and the abuse of power by the instructor could be explored further. Considering its potential for development, it's definitely a series worth looking forward to โ 5 stars.
Miyashita-san is SO much better after her AV comeback!! I'm completely captivated by her toned, brown body. Her skills have improved, and I'm blown away by her 'offensive skills' in this one. Do all the women at the gym get this horny? Just a thought...
